A few have already posted, but..Just a motor shot, but as stated. You can do it either way. I have my ESC wires standing up. I am going to change them though, the body on my 4wd has very low sides. I will keep them standing up on my 2wd.
EDIT: I'm not sure why it's fuzzy when posted. Looked fine on my comp.

If I'm just going to run 13.5 and 10.5 will I see any difference between the 10 and 10R?
What about 550 motors?
Thanks again.

most robust ESC i have ever owned.
Threw it into a hyper 10tt
(my vtx10 with a boosted 8.5vst)
with a 5700 50c pack.
Esc temps after 7mins on the track 93degrees on the esc and 123 on the motor.
Raised the boost a little bit and some bottom end punch and final temps after a 10 min run 99* on esc and 133 on motor.. i can gear up a tooth or two and reduce the settings i put into it and come out with a fast little hyper!
do i recomend this setup for a 4x4 sc truck NO! but in the hyper10tt or maybe a crt.5 conversion sure!

Wel just put a viper 8.5 in my sc. So far I lke it. itis really smooth and seems to like gear. I have it at 20/84 and motor temp was 120 on the endbell after a 7 min run. Question I have is what will happen if I start adding timming on the motor? and how much if any should I add.The esc I use has no timing adv on it. In az during the summer depending where ur heat race is in conjuction to the water schedule it can get a little slick and I was told some timing can take away a little bottom and gain some on the top. Is this correct? So for as an example lets say my current setup has more than enough drive to clear everything we have. could I add some timing to gain some top end as long as it will still clear anything we have?
