Still saving 19g even just going from an R-BE to a BE. ~30g with the 10 or 1.
Man that's a pretty good chunk of weight. That'll bring me down close to the min-weight for 2WD buggy.

lol, I add weight to all of my 2wd offroad cars. Even my losi which comes in at 1650 grams, lol. Light cars just feel too twitchy, even in 17.5.

no power? no steering? no motor? The VTX are not very repairable because they are filled with epoxy. At least that is my understanding. You were not using it in a sc 4x4 or using a 4 pole were you? Also, how old is it? 1 year warranty on it.

If you do have power to the ESC and just no throttle, that's an entire different problem to troubleshoot.

No power through the unit is not switch related.
It still has multiple things that could cause it. On your end check all the connections, good solder joints on any plugs or connectors, check battery and individual cell voltage to make sure they are both strong.
Other variables come into play as well, motor still spin smoothly, when it stopped was it because there was crash or bad landing. Did you still have steering but no power? Any error lights on the esc?
You can PM me here, or if you like you can send the unit in for evaluation - fill out the RMA form at www.viper-rc.com/contact.php - follow the steps listed there. We would be glad to look it over and act accordingly.
