The voltage isnt what matters. Its the amperage.

chunked idler gear and broke my ball diff screw.

and tore half my tabs off on the 13.5

the right tab was worse with out solder on it. and the right side of the middle tab is bent up as well.

i tested it with out the cap was still having brown outs.

ill test raising the voltage up i can always add expo to the servo by my radio

The good news is you can order replacement solder tabs

Also, the load on servos remains pretty similar regardless of operating voltage because the demands to turn the wheels remain consistent. The current draw when running a higher bec voltage (say 6-6.5v) will likely be lower than when running a lower bec voltage (5.0v). Low voltage forces more of the servo watts to come from current draw, high voltage allows more of the servo watts to come from the additional voltage. Remember P=IV

Probably it is the receiver and not the servo. I have seen this pretty often lately. Now occasionally it is the servo but most of the time the receiver is just giving out. And Spektrum seem to be the worst.

i have 4 rx's no matter witch one i use from the oldest to the newest rx that i have witch is a few months old now.. it browns out with out the spektrum cap.

the savox servos are pretty power hungry and the spektrum rx dose not like to drop voltage

having that .2oz in a cap with some wire to know that my rx will never drop out of power is a key to my mind that gives me confidence on the track.
who likes to think that this lap my electronics might fail?

Alright so i just changed the sbec voltage in the esc from 5.0v to 7.0v man that 1258 got fast.. i also have no more spektrum brown outs.. i held the car down and cranked the servo back and forth as fast as i can, and still worked flawless.
