I don't know about Vipers as I haven't tried one yet but the LRP's will do that. When new, all it takes is a bit of warmth and they smell like they are frying. Probably just solvents in the varnish burning off, nothing to worry about.

I didn't notice that with any of the four new motors I have run.

Turbo - was that with a Viper motor?? Did it continue after another run?

the 1/10 esc's are due for a early March release according to what I have been told by my Central Region Team Manager.

Super- 1/10 esc's are due in March, we just had a successful couple days of testing both on- and off-road to finalize the production software.

After the 1/10 products are up and running 1/8 esc will begin development. I have the motors, but I have not run them yet. Waiting for my TQ SX8e to come from the factory and the esc of course.
