I have a used one for sale right now, if you read a few posts down you can get the details.
A brand new unit, just the charger itself will be around $365.00 shipped. This does vary depending on the exchange rate though. The new version is getting close, 30A discharge and new case. The new ones have the blue backlit display also.

You can send me an e-mail if you like.

Thanks man, when are the new 30A ones coming out?

i guess the problem with me is that i don't fully understand all of what the different features do to batteries, so it's getting pretty frustrating .
what about power supplies; i was thinking about the Bulldog 35A or 40A?

Hi Jaybee,

I'm told the 30A versions will be available at the end of July, these ones are a little more than the 20A versions $15 to $20 I think.

I use 15A power supply which works fine for me. The 30A discharge does not mean you are drawing 30A form the Power Supply, you are drawing 30A from the cells.

For more information on the the charging methods it's better to check out the Pro-Trak website, however generally when charging for racing I use linear, this seems to give good punch for when you are racing. For cylcling, I use soft pulse as this seems to help with the condition of the cells better.

Anything else I can help you with, just let me know.

Hi Guys

I have been using protrak for about 5 months now.I think it's the best charger at the moment.I'm using the multi phase charging system which is very good and i saw a lot of difference in the performance of the batteries. The ics is a very usefull tool which i uses a lot.Other chargers i don't think they have the multi phase charging. And the best thing i like in this charger is the support from the manufacturer.Phil is a great man with big patience and he always helped me out.

Hi Speed,

Yes he is very patient, he has to be when he deals with me. I've never used the multi phase charging yet, what improvements do you see?

Here is 30A pro-trak (ProtoType).
Not only discharge is possible with 30A, but the case became new.

There is a stand like a photograph, therefore the display became legible. The portion of a heat sink is covered in a new case. The case which covers a heat sink is not attached to ProtoType
Air cooling of the heat sink is carried out by four FANs

This case has quality higher than a old(current) case. A color is lusterless black
