I don't know why no one has made a thread for their charger yet. Anyways I'm planning to get one and I'm very convinced from their website. I have owned a GFX and really liked it, but I want a smaller charger that doesn't take up too much space and is lighter to lug around to the tracks. I have a few ?'s.
1. What are the dimensions of the charger? Doesn't say on their website.
2. Do I need the thermal tray to charge NIMH? I have seen pics of world class driver's pits and they are using the Trinity batt. fan stand.
3. Is the Intensive Care System only for NICD like the webites says or would it be good to have for equalizing NIMH?
Any replies or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. This sounds like a wonderful charger and the produce support sounds like the best around.

Yes the Protrak is a wonderful charger. Maybe it doesnīt look as good as other chargers and the old case feels a little on the cheap side but there is a new one right now. Beside this it works awesome. There are some wellknown chargers from the German brands but I prefer the Protrak.
Dimensions are about 175 x 175 x 65 mm + wires. In inch itīs about 7 x 7 x 2.6
You donīt need the thermal tray for charging NIMHīs itīs just another option. Beside this the tray is using not only one but three thermal sensors and is showing all of their readings in the display. But the deltapeak cutoff is really working good so Iīm not using the thermal cutoff even as I have one.
I donīt have the Intensive Care System. Iīm using the Robitronic system which is working really good but takes some time as itīs discharging current is 1 amps. Iīm planning for buying an additional Rayspeed unit but itīs not easy getting one currently.

Hi Nismo,
I do the sales tech support and basically anything you need in the US. if you have any question's please e-mail me.
Dimensions - V12 is very accurate approx 7" x 7" and about 2.5" tall. I think the new version will be slightly wider.
You can charge NiMh on peak no problem, I've been using temp detect for about 4 months but it does have some trouble when the ambient temperature rises. The thermal tray actually uses 4 temperature detection sensors.
The ICS will work for NiMh no problem, Phil has probably not changed that page since he first introduced the ICS about 8 years ago.
