I am getting a hw just stock esc later this week. I'm pretty sure it includes a programmer also. My question, is this just 2s capable? Or will it go 1s also? Don't really think I will ever run 1/12th but who knows. LoL

I'm using one in my 1/12th scale currently, pulled the red wire, leaving the power switch off and using a reciever pack.

When you say pulled red wire? On the reciever plug? And how does it work with switch off? And how do you aet you voltage cutoff? I thought it would not work because the esc would shut down because it saw less than 6v.

I've used a Just-Stock in 17.5 12th scale without a booster or receiver pack. It might depend on your receiver and servo though, as some work better than others at lower voltages.

I know someone running it on 1s. They are using a booster for the receiver and had to disable low voltage cutoff.

Hi guys, I have Xerun 60A v2 esc and my Hobbywing USB Link v3.50. What software should I use to run stock with boost and timing? Many thanks.

I've bought a Hobbywing V3.1 for touring and I'm thinking of running 1/12th 1s modified (3.5). Now, I've come across a Sanwa servo that runs specifically on 3.7v Part# 107A54201A. Would this servo in combination with Hoobywing V3.1 elminate the use of a booster?

The receiver is a KO Propo KR-411 FH.

I think you would still need a booster. As the receiver needs more than 4.2 volts. Looks like it is spec at 4.8-7.4. Running 1 cell you will not get close to that.

Just get a 1S ESC and be done with it...
If money is an issue, go for the TrackStar 1S model and a programming card. all together plus shipping, the cost is less than $100.

Money is not an issue. I just want to utilize the Hobbywing V3.1 120A for both touring and 1/12th racing. I don't want to have a 1s specific esc which is limited to only 1s. Found a booster and all is good
