did you replace the capacitor? as that blows instantly when terminals are reversed,you could just remove it to check function but get a cap back on before you race it

Just to make you aware there has been some confusion around about the relationship with Hobbywing and Speed Passion.

The Business relationship ended many years ago and the only speed controllers that were designed and manufactured by Hobbywing then labelled Speed Passion were the GT series only nothing else.

We do not design or manufacture hardware or software for SP now for over 4 years there is only friendship no business relationship.The Sp product is made by another manufacturer not Hobbywing.

Same as confusion over team powers and G force they might look like the Hobbywing V3 but both brands have absolutetly nothing to do with Hobbywing.

GT.. some of the most reliable SP made :lol:

Cobra, used the Reedy 4.0 motor (TC ON), the fast track;
The track is hot (+ / - 50C) and air temp + / - 35C.
My ESC V3.1 (new)!
FDR 8.6 (One CSO). motor was ok! 80 to 90C, max.
But the ESC stoped, it disarmed by overheat protection.

Setup in race was 0º boost and 0º Turbo, for 5 minutes to finish the race.
I tried using 5 points Boost (start 30k and Finish 60.000) and thus was up to 4 minutes (overheat protection).

I can not use this set?

Motor Reedy first generation with Reedy 6500 65C lipos. Endbell is a Zero points.
