I have the v3 and it was better on high grip carpet.
I can't comment on the other esc's sorry.
I would still be running it if I could get to to play nice with my airtronics tx.

I run an Airtronics M11X and I'm not having any problems with mine.

I received my V3 1S esc a few days ago, for those waiting for it, I suggest too! Its an awesome looking esc and will save a lot of room in the cars as there is no external cap or anything, literally just the esc to plug in and wire it up If only I wasn't waiting for a new car to test it

Lewis thanks so much for the info I finally installed it tonight. Have a big race tomorrow. I did not see V3.2 only V3.0 so that's what I put in.

The v3.2 you mentioned is the usb link program not the actual software used on the esc .

If it feels the same after our update i would suggest looking elsewhere for a fix like radio settings ,motor etc from what i know factory drivers and others have no issues with the brakes .

So then what's the fix for someone who doesn't want to change radios, receivers, motors, and servos just to get an ESC with brakes?

Obviously, Angelo, there is an issue here. It's not like it's a single occurrence and nobody else has ever reported it. We've got the last 100 pages asking about the soft brakes on Hobbywing ESCs.

There's gotta be SOMETHING you guys can look at. There are so many people here talking about the soft brakes, that it simply could not be a coincidence.
