V3 to be released end of october 2011 :nod:
I'm very interested in the product since the price is good and the support too. But from the top racers no one is using it!? Can it match brands like SpeedPassion, LRP, Team Orion, Novak .... |

Will the V3 be a whole new concept (looks, hardware, software)?

hi guys,
i installed the "blinky" software and ran it with a sp 13.5T v3. worked like a charm. however, i noticed that with my programm box i could adjust "DRRS" levels even with blinky software. is this normal?? what das it do? i have never run blinky software before so thats why i am asking. cheers |
Hi all still trying to get to end speed out of my 21.5t speed passion V3 motor. Have tried a lot of setting and have found a little more speed but its getting hot (75c after 5 mins) but I want it to be lower temp wise and make it too 6mins.
My current setting are: Motor timing 10 deg FW 213 FDR 6.3 1 For/Brake 2 Drag Brake 0% 3 Voltage Prot 3.0v/cell 4 "DRRS" Punch Level 1 5 Brake Force 37.5% 6 Reverse Force 50% 7 Initial Brake 0% 8 Neutral Range 6% 9 Boost Timing 40 10 Turbo Slope 6 11 OverHeat Prot Enable 12 Turbo Timing 10 13 Start RPM 5000 14 Turbo Delay 0.3sec 15 Timing ACC 350 I have tried more and less boost and it didnt change the temp but more wasn't any quicker. I tried going to 6000 on the turbo timing and it came in almost at the end of the straight. 4000 was quicker but temp after 3 mins and it was at 75c. I tried the DRRS punch up higher, but it made the motor run hotter. Where I am with the setting is only 4th's a lap off the fastest guys but I loose about 3 to 4 meters down the straight every lap. As its holding the car back with my driving is really good atm at worst my consistency is .1 to .2 in a run. Should I gear it up? The car (TOP Photon) has all new bearings and nothing is binding and is very free. Any help would be great |
Have you tried a different brand of 21.5 BL motor. Some seem to rev out more than others. I have used the SP 21.5 and found it to be not as fast as some other brands.
Later, Calvin. |
the 2 guys quicker than me are using the same motor.
I have tried and killed a SP MMM and a Team Powers motor |
anyone got a setup for a speed passion 4.5 v3 with 211 stock software

Any help would be great If you are 4/10ths of the pace and you are 3 to 4 meters down on spped at the end of the straight you should possilbly look at the corner speed of your car! If the quick guys carry 1 meter more speed through the corners it all adds up as speed is lineal, more speed in the corners equals more speed in the straights... |
I'm quicker through the infield and able to pass the quick guys but soon as the straight comes they just drive straight they drive past me like im standing still.
Only thing different is the speed controller they are using a tekin I think This is the track in question http://www.tftr.org.au/images/track%204%20reversed.jpg |

Racers in exile??
I recently (22-09) ordered a 1S speedo from racersinexile.co.uk but I haven't received a single response from them.
I've sent them several emails and tried calling them several times but no response at all?. Did anyone have the same experience recently or know what is up with that shop?. I will try calling them again today but if I can't contact them today I will put in a paypal dispute, first time I ever have to do that. Next time I will order in Hongkong like I always do, never had an issue with HK shops. |
