try start RPM at maybe 5000, DDRS at a higher level, ACC at a Hotter setting or gear upwards ie 6.0 to 6.5?

Just watch the temps all the time buddy.

Hope it helps

So for my Pancar (1/12)

Endrpm = 1000 + (100rpm per Unit * 50 )
Endrpm = 6000

I would not include the turbo as part of your end RPM, as the turbo may or maynot be present, depending on how long you have had your throttle at max.

thanks shawn ..

FDR 6,5

4 - 9 (if the grip is low, down to 5)
9 - 40°
10 - 18°/0,1s
12 - 25°
13 - 5000rpm
14 - 0.2/s
15 - 500

Hi Agno,

I tried it, and it was amazing. I changed some settigs in it and the feel became better.

For a small carpet track FDR should be around 7.0 .
Punch (4) was better with 7 or 8 then 9. (For my driving :) .)
For boost start rpm I used 4000rpm.
All other remained the same.
Temp of the motor was around 85C without fan.

Many THX for help.
Peter

V2.1 motor limit

Hi All,

With the 60A version of the v2.1 esc, what is the lowest number motor I can use with modified settings (touring car, 2s, asphalt, rubber)? Can I use a 6.5T motor with it ? And with how much boost etc... ? I read somewhere that it can handle a 5.5T motor.

THX
Peter

I'm sorry, I found:blush:

OK I had a very frustrating race meet on sunday with the 211 software. I missed practicing the previous week and really should have gone back to some familiar 518 or 1224 settings but the brakes are so much nicer on the 211 i stuck with it. Here are my settings
Duo2 17.5 1 tick of timing on can
FDR 5.8
DRRS 2
Boost 42
Turbo slope 18
start 5000
Turbo 20
delay 0.1
Timing acc 350

Leaving the above all the same I found that when changing from 350 to 400 on the boost timing acc setting my car would take forever to wind up and i got slaughtered. In going from 350 to 400 I wanted to get it to be a little less aggressive in the middle of the boost range and take out a little heat but I had to take of 4 teeth of pinion to get any decent acceleration out of the car which then cost me top speed and defeated the purpose.

Any ideas anyone? Anyone care to test the above and duplicate my frustration LOL

I am happy to have been of help, in my setup the FDR is for a medium track, for a small track, 7 and certainly was better, the temperatures are a bit too high, I have not had so high, the use of a fan is appropriate, or possibly for small track should decrease the Boost timing (9) and Turbo timing (12) for a to lower the temperature, it could also raise the Boost timing acceleration (15) but you lose a little acceleration.

Cheers

Agno
