airtronics problem
#1
hey all i have a airtronics mx-3 fhss 2.4ghz radio and im running it in my cyclone and im having a issue with the steering servo.
i have a hitec 645mg servo and a hitec 635hb servo and i have tryed both and when i turn the steering everyonce in awhile they "hang up". they hang up and start making noise like they are trying to move or some force are on them. i put my basic perfex ks-1401 servo on and it works fine and that servo if from my truggy's throttle.
do you think my hitecs are giving up or is it a issue with the radio working with a hitec?
im going to try with my slash servo to see what it does also

Hard to say. But I have been running an Airtronics radio with my hitec servos and have not had any issue at all. If you suspect your servos might be on the way out, then try a new servo. If it does the same thing, then I would suspect a bad receiver.

what speed controller / BEC are you using...?
Have you tried a capacitor on the receiver?
High draw servos & low output from the ESC to the receiver will cause studdering much as you described...
Unhook the ESC & throw a receiver pack on & see if the problem goes away.
