Default Tekin R1 ESC. question..

just bought this ESC:
Tekin R1 Pro
and this BL motor:
Novak SS Pro 13.5T motor

I know that the ESC is sensorless and that the motor is sensored, but i know i can use it anyway. (have checked)

One question:
on the motor it is a plug of some kind, problably stock on the novak ESCs. this plug contains 6 wires and on the ESC it is just 3 (black, white and red)
So my question to you guys is: Can i just cut this plug off and just use the 3 wires (red, white and black) ? and isolate the three others?

will this work? or is there somethings else?

Do you have all 3 wires from the motor connected to the ESC?

Do you have the capacitor solider on to the battery terminals on the ESC correctly?

The red and black are for a brushed motor.
