Wow, this thread died out 4 years ago. Keyence makes some crazy awesome isht so why isn't it more readily available. Even online I can't find a damn thing. Google shopping doesnt bring up anything. Ebay doesnt bring up anything!

The Keyence Japan website seems to have direct order but I'll be damned if I have to pay $300+ for an ESC.

I brought a Keyence Tachyon back with me when I came back from Japan last year. Unfortunately its not Roar legal and I run blinky stock so I have been trying all sorts of other ESCs. Tried a Hobbywing Justock, Viper vtx10 and a vtx10r - all of which are excellent - but none are as smooth or as small as the Keyence. The boost function on it is incredible. Doesn't just come on like a rocket - just amps up nice and smooth and brakes like a champ. Ran it in a 4WD yokomo bmax with a 6.5T and it was barely breaking a sweat. I had a problem with a dud capacitor which lead to frying one of the boards inside. Sent it back to Keyence and they replaced it with a new unit. Its well worth the money if you race mod or boost but other than that, its probably not worth the cash. Having said that, it is easily the best ESC I have. The Keyence motors - Luxon and Luxon KG are very good too. Also not cheap. Wish Keyence was represented in other countries.
