Cheers |
Has anyone tried lipos with either the rapida pro or Extreme V series?
Just gotten a Rapida Pro. Just wanted to check if its ok to run lipos with EnsA on? |
Ive been running Lipos with my Rapida Pro and it runs with no problems.
You can even check the voltage of the cells before you run which will tell you how much charge the Lipo has. |
So which is the top of line esc from Keyence? The Rapida Pro, or Zero V?

Actually they are both top of the line. The Zero V Extreme was the top of the line until the Rapida Pro came out. The Zero V is just the older version of the two.

does keyence makes esc for brushless motors?
whats the difference between Flash and EXStraight models? the price difference is quite significant though... would appreciate your advise and feedback... |
Hiya
Does anyone know what Guage the wire is that comes with the Rapida Pro? Coz i have some 14 guage wire, the silicone is the same thickness but the keyence copper is thicker. I also have some trinity 13 guage and the silicone is thicker yet, the copper is even thinner than 14 guage. How can the trinity be 13 guage if it has very few strands but the strands are like stiff?, looks almost like elctrical cable. If its 13 guage surely it should be thicker than 14? Thanks Ya`All |

Thanks Ya`All A bad solder joint at a cell or motor tab has 100x the resistance diffrence between 14G and 12G wire. Wire gauge in the R/C industry often ends up meaning outer diameter of the insulation...which is wrong but it is what it is:rolleyes:. Keyence 14G wire has thin insualtion so that mean it has a lot of wire and is a great conductor. If you want to run 12G wire dont play around and run Dean's Wet Noodle wire...its the best. |
Hey Guy's just finished running my rapad pro for the first time today. Just love it.
My question is this. actully I have 2. 1 does any one have a great set up for stock co27's and for the kd19 reg 2. do you run witht he power save on or off. 3 ok 3 questions. should I place a stockie diode on each motor. if i'm just running stock and 19. thanks. |
Hiya
Thanks Adrian for the explanation. I seem to have a problem with my keyence ESC's , running stock the ESC seems to cut out when the speedo reaches 50 degree celsius. once it hits 46 or so, the car slows, and then when it hits 50 it stops. If this speedo is suppose to handle mod motors, how can it cutout on a stock?. Is there a temp cut off one can disable or something? Thanks Ya`All |
i'm not really aware of the temperature cut off feature,,, what you can do though is you can try lowering the drive frequency on the speedo that's gonna lower down the temps on the speedo as well
|
Hiya
The drive frequency is only a 2.0 In the keyence book it says to use external cooling when the speedo gets to 100 degree celcius, how can it get there when it cuts out at 50?.. Thanks Ya`All |
