Hi All,

I bought a used Keyence 2002 and did not receive an instruction manual.. Which wire goes to what on the right side of the case? I have 4 wires and assuming(if you are looking down on the right side) they are numbered 1-4, how would they attach to the motor and battery?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Charley

The largest tab(closest to the led screen) is for motor and battery POSITIVE......the middle tab is for motor NEG.....and the top tab is for battery NEG .......Get yourself an instruction booklet(mabe one of these guys can tell you if keyence's site has downloads)...you'll probably need it in the begining ;)

If I'm not mistaken, that would be the 1.2V lead for servos that are 7.2 powered. Your servo should have an extra lead for that, and it should obviously note somewhere that it is a 7.2V servo.

Ok.. So I got the wires taken care of or so I thought.. The car only runs in reverse.. I tried reversing my radio, switching the wires,etc... I ran through the setup to set neutral, high point and low point with no luck..

I guess my question is that since I believe i have the wires connected correctly, is it most probable that I have to adjust the ESC setup?

Any help would be appreciated.

Silly question, but never overlook the obvious. Did you check that the motor leads are soldered on properly? Sounds as if you have them on reversed.

And that was my first concern and tried the leads from the ESC both ways on the motor.. It seems like such an obvious solution but I am stumped. I am putting it all down for awhile and will try it again..

By reversed, I mean the red wire to the — post on the motor, and the black wire to the + side. Also, be sure to download the instruction manuals from the Keyence website, as they have pictures to compare to make sure you have it wired up correctly, too.
