they are sending me a new one. and told me my servo saver HAD to have been to tight. says they know nothing of the rc8t being hard on servos and none of there drivers using the servos have broken them. and mine was the 1st one in 3 months he saw with a busted gear. .. so now im not sure if should try it again or not. i did notice in the review of saxtons rc8t he listed hes using the servo. but really he had a hobbico in the pics lol. i really wanted to ask the guy on the phone about it ..

sorry to bring up an old thread, but can anyone confirm now that they have been around a while what servo horn type to use with these? is it futaba or has to be the a specific one for the servo, and if so, where can I order those from?

1015 is awsome for throttle in 1/8, steering for buggy, dont suggest truggy steering, i blew one out in truggy steering in about 3 minutes, but highly reccomend them in any 1/10 scale or throttle for 1/8 scale

i"ll probably move it back then to trhottle setup, will use my futaba S9531 instead for steering. Just curious about the servo horn fitting.

futaba mate 25t I have used them in steering and throttle for that matter on buggy and truggy never had an issue except the bloody tabs can get brittle and a new case gets hard to find so be carefull when handling the case.

correction! its not a futaba horn, it will fit but be loose, it is a 23t spline! a futaba will only ruin your spine gear

I have been using the 1015 in both my 6 and 6t, in both the throttle and steering, for the last two seasons now going into the third. I use the stock horns that came with the servos. I think the big thing is to set your servos up properly to not have issues.

I have used them for years the only problem was strippred the gears once other than that they have been flawless.

Used 1015's last season in my truggy and worked great. Have since switched to Savox in my truggy and put the 1015's in my new buggy, never had an issue with them.

That's funny I just looked and the AE B4.1/T4.1 manual lists DS 1015 using the "F" futaba horn... pretty sure they should know, it's their servo...basicaly.
