I'd recommend either, you can't go wrong with any of the Hitec 794x or 795x servos. All are Hitec's top-of-the-range servos and have excellent specs and prices.

You just need to figure out if you're looking for a high speed or high torque servo, then the choice is made much easier for you. Which are you looking for, more torque or more speed? I now go for torque as my main criteria when buying servos, as I've found that anything much under about 0.10s or so is way too twitchy for me, on either brakes/throttle or steering, but that's just me. Other people love the fast servos, I just find them too hard to control. Let me know what you prefer and I can give you some further advice.

When calibrating my esc with the m11. You can set the end points to 140% Do I max out the end points or set them at 100% for calibration? Thanks

I'll have a guess and say to set it at 100%. The instruction manual for your ESC should explain it in there. How did you set it with your previous radio?

I just got my M11x in and changing receivers over in all vehicles. In the past, with Spektrum receiver and Savox servo, I had to use capacitor for glitching. Do I still need to? :-)

this is the reason I switched from Spektrum...kept glitching with my Savox servos. Not the case now that I have a MX11. Only issue is the rx's are pricey around $65 used to $100 new. Not like the sr300 which can be had for $35 used. Oh well.

There's a very good reason as to why the Airtronics rx's cost double or more compared to the Spektrum equivalent - in this case, you certainly do get what you pay for.:D

Being a current owner of both systems, M11x/RX451R and M11/Spektrum module/SR300/SR3000, I can definitely attest to the fact that the Airtronics 2.4GHz experiences far fewer glitches than the Spektrum. In fact, I think I can only remember 1 or maybe 2 times the M11x has ever glitched. Absolutely love it.

This is a completely unfair comparison to make but the difference in response time from my M11/Spektrum system to the M11x is like I'm turning the wheel or something and writing the instruction down on a bit of paper and then taking it over to the Spektrum rx. HAHA And the M11x is as if it's wired to my brain, it is THAT much faster, but like I said, totally unfair comparison. If I had a Spektrum tx to use, not the M11 where there is the latency of the module added to the tx's latency, then it would be interesting to find out what the difference is like. But as it is, the M11 almost feels fluffy or padded or something, where the instructions have to go through some kinda thick barrier, it is very noticeably slower.

Can't wait until my RX451R comes back from warranty repairs, it's killing me using my old M11.

You do not need to use a capacitor with airtronics equipement if you are running savox servos, that is only needed with the other radio brands.

Get the Sanwa RX451R, also sold as Airtronics 92451. If you don't want to spend quite as much, buy Sanwa RX451/Airtronics 92744.
Airtronics site isn't updated as most of the rx you'll see are just re-branded versions of current model Sanwa/Airtronics rx's.

Trying to learn this remote and have a question... I run several different tracks (Indoor and Outdoor), so set-up changes in the remote and car has to be made all the time. Is there a way to save remote settings for differnt tracks/setups?

Arushmen 12-12-2011 12:52 PM

hi,

greetings, someone has fixed the internal fuse?

yeah. the model menu. you can name them anything (indoor/outdoor). say you had an sc10. Use model #1 for "sc10 indoor" and set all your settings for indoor. then use model #2 for "sc10 outdoor" and set all your settings for outdoor. jump between the two when you switch.

So, I take a receiver that is bound and copy it over and rename it so then I can change the setting for that track? That is awesome... I was just confused if one receiver could be bound to several model numbers in the M11x...

Seems as though now I can find what works good at each track that I go to and save it and not have to worry about changing it when I go back there... Except for minor adjustments here and there for tracks conditions and layout changes and such... But going from indoor one weekend to an outdoor the next is a huge difference...

One rx can have as many model memory positions as the tx supports, 30. You can have all of the memories in use by one rx or 30 rx's.:tire::tire: As far as I know, there is no limit to either the number of rx being bound to a tx or the number of memory positions in use by an rx. By that I mean you can have multiple rx's bound to the same memory position, but obviously, only one rx can be used at a time.
