I would suggest the 92744 receivers. Once you bind it in shr mode, you will notice a difference. I too just switched from my old trusty 3PM 2.4 and am very happy so far. If you can find the rx471 receivers for a good price, they work as well.
The Airtronics support personnel were also extremely helpful in clearing up some ambiguities concerning the safe working voltages of which both Rx units are capable. It seems that the outside of the Rx box packaging has 4.8V-6.0V listed as safe useable input voltage but the instruction sheet found inside the box specifies 4.8V-7.4V. As I use a LiPo Rx pack, I wanted to be sure I wasn't going to fry the Rx or cause any problems. Both the 92744/RX451 and 92451/RX451R are absolutely 100% safe to use with 7.4V LiPo packs. I mentioned that they really should get the specs on the box corrected and they agreed but said that as they have zero input into the manufacturing process, there's nothing they could do about it. But the Airtronics support dept sure are great at what they do IMHO. |
Does anyone know can the plastic covering the screen be ordered? Mine got some acetone splashed on it and it got a little messed up on one side

M11x ch3 and ch4 servo operation?
Hello all!
I have an M11x and am installing the 4 ch receiver into my Traxxas Summit. I'm trying to program the 3rd and 4th channels to operate the servos that change the gear from high to low and lock/unlock the differentials. Does anyone have experience programming the Tx to do this? I'm having a hard time... |

If you can't assign the 3rd and 4th channels to switches, let me know and I should be able to figure it out after reading the manual. Hope that helps mate. |
Hey, guys,
I am now official an owner of m11x, upgraded from a Flysky GT3B. M11x just feels unbelievablely connected to your car and super reliable. I got it from someone in local track, I think the radio has been used for over 3 years. The radio functions good, but somehow... I think it feels lil cheap, even feels cheaper than my gt3b. like when you twist radio body slightly.you can hear plastic to plastic rubbing. The rubber piece that is attached on the handle also doesn't stick on handle very well, but can be solved by some self fuse tape around handle. It is an used radio and I got it for a great price( radio + 2400 mah 2s lipo, 2xfhss3 rx for $170) , so I shouldn't expect it to be perfect. But is there anything you guys have done to refresh it? Or is it just the way it is after being used for so long? Is there full replacement plastic case available? Thanks for you guys help! I could live with it... But I always like to keep my equipments look new, real car or RC car. |
I purchased my lightly used m11x a little over a year ago and love it. You are right on the money about feeling connected to your car. I'm not sure about the problem you describe with the plastics. Is never occurred to me to twist the casing, just as is never occurred to me to press on the fenders of my honda....

Nah, they're not usually like that's, not if one takes care of their equipment. I've had my M11x for well over 3 years and apart from a tiny bit of dust or red dirt stains in some places, it's the same as new.
I put some fuel tube around the throttle and shrink wrap on the brake and I love the feel of it that way. Might even try shrink wrap a layer or 2 on the throttle and see if that's any improvement if the fuel tube ever falls off or gets loose. You got an incredibly good price, but the old cliche "you get what you pay for" may have some application in your circumstances. Best thing to do would be to send your exact same questions to Airtronics support dept. coz I've dealt with them many times and I reckon their great!! Unfortunately I've no idea about any way to actually fix your problems but hope the support dept. will. They usually sort these things out reasonably quick and very well. Please let us know how you go. |
Got response from Airtronics.
They said everything is on Hobbypeople.net. I went through the replacement part list. I think I am just gonna stick with what I have, lol. Those replacement cases aren't cheap, I think it would cost me at least $70. I might as well save that money and go for a M12 or M12s in the future. Thanks for the response , guys! |
Anyone have their M11x 92744 receivers randomly go bad? I've had two of them to where the car starts having random run aways? Been using this system for a few years and have never had a problem till now! Anyone have any info do I have some setting messed up?

I have been using an Airtronics MX-V Transmitter and FHSS-2 Receivers on my 1/12 scale car and 3 touring cars. I just bought a used M11X transmitter from a friend. I plan to use my current FHSS-2 Receivers so I will set the M11X transmitter to the FHSS-2 Mode. Will this combination be faster than my current MX-V? I googled it and could not find any hard numbers. I was also thinking about buying a FHSS-3 receiver to see if the faster speed is noticeable to me. However, after reading this thread, one person said I would have to re-bind my transmitter with the FHSS-2 and FHSS-3 receivers each time I switched models. I would have thought that it would save the Mode settings in each of the Model Settings. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks
