tried it already so many times! still the problem occurs, tried it on a different esc and brushless motor and the same thing happens.

I tried the futaba 3pm transmitter and the damn thing just work fine. so its probably on the transmitter itself. but im not sure if everyone else m11x will have the same problem.

Maybe you have the "Throttle Hold" setting on.

Try starting from a new model memory, and then recalibrate the ESC.

Tried this also. same thing happened. throttle hold was set to zero.

when i used the reversed mode of the 3pm it automatically reverse the motor rotation without any calibration or resetting of the esc. can you try it on your m11x?

Sorry I don't have an M11X. At least not yet

New video of the M11X on youtube! Pretty good actually. 400m (1/4 mile) verified range.

M11X is a very good radio, probably the best right now, the price is unbeatable if you compare it to the futaba 4pk. I bought it in pitshop in sta mesa, or you could also try team dogbone. just dont use it in shaft drive tc cars, the reverse function is a problem.

Why cant it be use in a shaft car? I just bought mine and today I set it up on my 416 with an LRP SXX. May I know what esc and car are you running?

On a belt drive car, the brushless motor rotation is counterclockwise.

On a TBO3 IFS the brushless motor rotation should move clockwise to move forward.

I install the esc and motor to my TB03. and as expected the car runs backward. So i need to reverse the rotation of the motor so when i hit the throttle it will fun forward.

So to reverse it, I use the reverse function of the Thottle: from NOR to REV.

PROBLEM: if I change the throttle setting from NOR to REV, the motor will start running backwards even in the Neutral position. if i press the brake the motor will run much faster still in the backward direction. If I press the forward trigger the motor will stop. Next I recalibrate the ESC in the REV setting and still the problem is the same. I also set the m11x setting to default and made a new model.

I tried a FUTABA 3pm transmitter. In NORMAL mode the car also runs backward. then I tried the throttle reverse function of the 3PM and the car runs forward, normally. I did not recalibrate the ESC when using the 3PM.

I used it on this ESC and motors.

SP LPF with SP 13.5T motor

LRP SPX with vortex 4.0T motor.

Can anyone with the m11x try the Throttle reverse mode and see if you will encounter the same problem also? and can come up with a possible solution. thanks in advance

Isn't the motor rotation in the TB03 the same as a belt-driven car like the TA05 or the TC5? Motor rotation should be clockwise when viewed from the endbell

yes the motor rotation is clockwise if viewed from the endbell! for the tbo3 its the other way around.

Today I was setting up a friend's car (using his m11X) which need the throttle to be REVERSED in order to get the right input, initially it did the same thing as you told (neutral position= running) but after recalibrating the ESC, it went away and it worked as per normal input. this was on an EzRun ESC though.

If it's not working with you I suggest you to switch the throttle back to normal. let the motor rotation be as it is and change the diff position. ie: swap the diff from left of crown gear to right of it ,vice versa, and do this to the front and rear diff. IF your TB diff casing can allow this though. So by doing this you'll get a normal input reaction.

Is it even possible to swap the diff from left to right in a TB-03? If so, it looks like someone put their diffs in wrong and is the reason all this unnecessary stuff is being done to make the motor run clockwise, when in fact it should run counterclockwise.

Picked up my M11x last week and it is nice!! Almost picked up the 4pk, but read there have been some software issues around binding as well as overheating issues so I got the M11x. Can't wait to use it soon!

wow i tried the differential swap! and it is possible, the input is now normal! woohoo! . no need to do the reverse throttle crap. dude i just post my m11x for sale because im so frustrated about this reverse thing.

dameetz thank you so much!
