Got a freind that just got an M11, he is trying to change from model 1 to model 2, but when he tries, it says display mode only. I tried to make my M11 do it, but no luck. Any idea on what he is doing wrong or what would cause this? As is he can only run 1 car with his radio.
Thanks

What he needs to do, is start the transmitter in Display Mode, this is done by holding the "Display" slider on the front of the radio over the the right for about 3 Seconds, and it will turn the radio on, and from there, choose Model Select function and you can change between models. To turn the radio off, push the slider over for about 1 second and let it go, and the transmitter will be off.
Then you can resume by just using the normal On/Off Switch on the Radio, but whenever you need to change model, you always need to do that

Hope this helps,
Ryan.

Hi guys, I just bought the M11X 2 days ago. I haven't actually use it yet, at the moment I m just running through the instruction manual. I have questions regarding setting up SHR mode.
As I understand I can select SHR mode on any individual channel, does this means if I use digital servo for steering and analog for throttle, so I can select SHR only for steering and NOR for throttle?
Which mode for throttle should I use if I m running ESC? with digital servo for steering.
This is my first Sanwa/Airtronics radio so I don't know much about their system. My background is Futaba and KO radios where if you select HRS or HSR you have to use all digital servos with it coz the whole system(channels) will be in that mode.

You can use digital or analog servos in the normal mode of the M11X. However, if you want to speed up your digital servo's performance, switch that channel the servo is on to the SHR setting. As for your speed control, simply keep that channel in the NOR mode as changing it to SHR mode will probably cause the speed control to not function properly as it doesn't operate at that fast of a frame rate.

As long as the esc you're using regulates the 4.8v to 6.0v range you should be fine. I run LRP and most of their new esc's will manage the voltage to the receivers and servos.
Can't wait, picking up my M11x tomorrow!!
