No cogging what so ever.It was geared the same as the novak system that was in it.was just as fast. The motor ran cooler and the speedo didnt even heat up at all.Motor temp after 10 min. of runtime was 114*F after the first battery, so I went up 3 teeth.Ran for another 10 min. run STILL no cogging, was fast as poop, and the motor temp was 134*F,speedo was still cold as Ice like it didnt even know it was being used!Gotta give it a thumbs up for the money!
What was your gearing for the novak system and which SCT do you have?

I have a custom built academy SCT.Was running a LRP sphere comp 07' with a novak 17.5 geared 24-83. Started at the same 24-83 as with the LRP/novak set-up.The novak motor usually ran in the 130 range with that gearing . the ez-run ran at 114 with that ratio.Didnt hit the 130+ mark until it was geared 27-83.Then after 10 minutes it was at 134.I could see one of the ez-run 17.5's behind a sidewinder or mamba max system and being completely competitive.

I am impressed that the 30.00 esc doesnt cog, and am even more impressed that it stays at ambient temp over 10 minutes of running.I dont really care for the "soft start" feature, but what do you expect for a 30.00 BL esc??

Hello guys , just got my EZ Run 60a 5.5t combo and I have too agree that this system is a BARGAIN (If it holds up) !

I have it in a HoBao Mini Hyper STe and its a screamer ! Gotta be pushing low 40mph , havent tried it off road cause it just rained and my track is too wet

My question is ..... Does the ESC auto detect the number of cells if you set the #3 setting "cutoff threshold" too a specific voltage (I set mine too 3.2v per cell)?

The programmer has a #11 "motor rotation" setting and a #12 "LiPo cells" setting , but when I plug it into the ESC it only goes too the #10 setting ?

Thanks ....

Im new to this also and are looking to upgraid from my feigao motor, the
larger 44mm 4465 motors seems it should be better than the smaller 3665 motors as its the same size as the cc mmm 2200kv and should have more tourqe [40% more stated in one add beteen the larger and smaller hobbywing motors] and stay cooler.

Anyone tryed one of these larger motors 44mm motors.

I have owned the 35amp/ 9t combo for my T4, and was Very impressed with it, the only thing is the fans that come with them is NO GOOD, mine lasted about 3 races and came apart, my buddy's went on the first run, but just get a 25mm MUCHMORE or NOVAK, or wichever you want and your good togo, i ran mine on a 2s 30c 4500mAH lipo

What would be best choice for a sensored version for 1/10 2wd buggy?
- Ezrun 80a (would this even fit?)
- Xerun 60a or 120a
any other hobbywing brand sensored esc's? I woud be removing the fan on these for 5 min races so overheating won't be an issue, more worried about esc size and driving quality. I will be running this with novak 13.5t 2s lipo

only concern I would have with the sensored ecus is there size as they are a lot bigger than the nonsensored ecu...check Hobbywing site for size specs and also a lot taller so make sure it will fit as I backed out of the sensored one due to size for an X5 4wd buggy...then again if you dont run a fan it wont be as tall...personally the 60 amp non sensored will be ample for a 2wd and way cheaper to. and it will still run with youre novak motor and probably with no cogging either...but youre call at the end of the day

Do you have a version 1.1 ESC and a version 2 programmer card?
My V1.1 detects the number of cells automatically.

I think the Ezrun systems are sensorless & the Xerun's are sensored but can also run sensorless motors.
I'm running a Xerun 120 V2.0 with a Novak 13.5 motor in my Evader ST truck & love it. It's as smooth and responsive as any esc I've ever owned. If there's anyway to fit this esc in your buggy, you'll be very impressed with it.

Or hobbywing use the same factory as Speed Passion and CS, or hobbywing
deliver al of these motors.
All I can say is that the ESC from Hobbywing are the most relayable of all
if they are the quickest I cant say but slow is different

I FINALLY got my 60a combo after complaining to Ebay the seller fianlly sent it.I was just wondering if it would hurt anything to switch the red and blue wires ?With the mx-3fhss I have to run the throttle in reverse and it seems like it's faster in reverse than in forward...I guess I got the version 1 program box because it won't go down to number 11 to change rotation. Also was wondering what program settings some of you are using for a Slash and gearing...right now I have the stock spur and the 23t pinion....still need to take it to the track and see how it does

Hi, I'm running the 150A/4465 combo in my D8T and the motor is ballistic!! Almost too much for me, but who am I kidding one can never have too much power..Right I think running the punch setting at #6 helps to keep it all under control
