I still wish they would have their own micro transceiver. But I have had the spektrum micro in da slow mode, and it works fine for now. I just don't want to spend a mint to buy spektrum micros for all my micros and then Nomadio releases the transceiver.

Instead of a totally new radio, I hope they come out with a React SE. That still can take the same software updates, except it has an external USB port, soft grip, and backlit display. That way current React users will still have support for some years to come.

EDIT: BTW it can take years to get paid from Military contracts with the amount of paperwork bureaucracy involved. Versus much more immediate sales from RC.

True enough. However it boils down to rates times volumes. They can make 3000 radios at $300 each...or they can make 15 drones at $150,000 each.

It sucks for now I know...but whatever it takes to help the armed forces. IMHO of course.

Nomadio current focus Nomadio is currently focusing on launching a new control system for the military market right now.
Our military needs this radio ASAP and We are focusing Our efforts to complete this task.
We greatly apoligize for any delays in production or continued development of Our RC products.

If it's for the military it probably takes some time to get to the standards with extensive testing.

Odd, most of the drones are flown out of Nellis Air Force base in here Vegas, and 1 other base in central Nevada. I know a few of the guys that do just that, fly the predator.

I tried a spektrom rec with my react, got a couple of temp runaways so moved the transeiver from my truggy to buggy, binding the spektrum rec was different from the nomadio, and couldn't set failsafes. Couldn't find any info except on spektrum site and it didn't explain how to bind to nomadio.
I ended up holding button on rec and then hitting rebind on react, it bound but had problems, any info you guys using spektrum recs could give me would be very helpful Thanks Pooldoc

Are guy at this time is still in Iraq and will be til I think he said spring to mid summer and then be back for awhile. Not sure exactly what type of drones he flies as he never dicusses that. The other thing he said is how boring it is when one is not working because you can't leave the base at all so fun things to do are very very limited at best.

I guess Nomadio is kind of the Rodney Dangerfield of RC companies.....they dont get no respect. I find it laughable that people come on here and bag Nomadio for not getting a micro receiver to production a year after announcing it, yet they will gladly unload their Nomadio gear and switch to a DX3R, which is lo and behold, finally in production a year after it was announced.

One thing is even though things have slowed a little at Nomadio they still have a radio that they can update without guys having to buy new. I think the DX3R for as long as they promotoed it was disappointing to me when it came into are shop. People always thought the Sensor looked cheap well I don't think the new DX3R is much better looking.

I think if I wasn't using my 3PK I would be using the Sensor again as it fit me well.

I agree. The Sensor is the standard by which I measure other radios (including React) for comfort. I may have to get me another one.

I had tried to use my 3PK before I had enough transceivers for my cars, I couldn't do it...

I really like the 3PK as I drive a little better than I did with my Sensor but at a cost of added weight.

The Sensor to me is excellent. I would still like to see plastic quality of the Futaba and Airtronics top radios in the Sensor and would like the extra memory the React has. They could even keep the radio the same design but with better plastic it would be nice.

I think a charge jack would be great as well. I always thought the display screen was one of the best around and excellent backlighting. I like that the Steering spring is pretty tight and the trigger to. I don't car for steering that uses a lightweight spring as I want it harder to turn as I drive better that way.
