I agree, I like a very heavy spring on my wheel, I have my 3PK cranked all the way up... The React spring is too soft for me....
Too bad Nomadio don't have a memory chip or something like that for the Sensor to give it equal memory of the React. That would be huge thing for me and I might buy another Sensor if that happened. The huge screen on the sensor is awesome and a feature I have always liked alot. |

Also... There's a guy making billet aluminum steering shafts for the Sensor, I finally broke mine and paypaled him $20 and don't have to ever worry about breaking it again... |

After breaking two shafts I found and purchased an alumminum shaft from a guy off the Nomadio website. I immediatly installed it and works great. I have ran it for a couple weeks now. Great drop in part. It is only $20 shipped. I would highly recommend one to anybody with a sensor. Everyone I know that uses one has broken that shaft at least once. Pictures below.
I had finally broke one as I was packing my Sensor for a 5 hour trip 3 states away to race.. Thankfully a longer screw and some CA held all weekend... I had my React with me as a back up, but I just like the feel of the sensor so much better... I ordered the Billet shaft, got it in a few days and now I know I'll never break one again... |
I think i'll order one of those, so when it does break i'll be set.

It is definitly worth the money. A spare steering wheel assembly from Nomadio(with plastic shaft) is $35:tire:

woo hoo my react will be at my house today!!
soon followed by my upgrade skin...anyone else got one on their react? |
just curious, how many of you guys use the telemetry feature?
|
I use the temp probes on my nitro vehicles and run the voltage monitoring on my electric cars to keep an eye on my pack voltages during practice to avoid over-discharging them..

One feature I really liked for nitro was the on board temp setup. Nothing better during a race to glance at my Sensor screen and read the temp of my motor while I'm racing. I used this feature on all my nitro stuff whether I was racing or using one of my nitro for a little bash time.

this thread seems to ave died out a little...
I'm a new React owner, and so far I love it... I race RC motorcycle and I find the softer spring in the react to be a bonus (coming from a very old M8) waiting to get my Dark Identity wrap and I'll be all set... the only thing I wish I had in the React is the ability to put different sound alert in it.... but that's not a big deal |
I should be getting my React in a few days also. Was considering waiting for the DX3R but decided to go with the Nomadio :D
|
I love my Sensor. I sold my Z-1's and haven't looked back. Nomadio support is hands down the best. I broke my wheel shaft Nomadio sent me an immediate replacement for free. I have since ugraded to the aluminum one too.
Like any radio I have some dislikes. For me...it's the cheap plastics used. However, Nomadio is not a plastic manufacturer...they specialize in radios. :D |
Does anyone have any info on those micro recievers that were supposed to come out?
