We can make some custom sounds of there's readable info in there.

I'm going to pull my charger apart tonight and pull the ribbon for the touch so it's usable.

So new issue popped up for mine while racing Saturday evening. Channel 2 would recognize a battery being plugged in by stating "Battery connected," but then showed zero volts and would error out with a "voltage too low" warning when trying to perform any function. Think I'm either going back to using my 406 Duo or spring for a new DX6.

Might be worth to upgrade the firmware and see how it goes.

How is everyone updating the firmware? Or to ask clearly, what type of cable do you need to upgrade the firmware? Ive tried multiple USB A to Type C cable on my desktop and none connected. I then tried several Type C to C cable on my laptop and none connected. I tried using one of the USB A to Type C cables on my laptop and magically connected and upgraded to 3.05. Well now that laptop is dead and I got a new one which only has Type C ports and now none of the cables connect again.

I have mine as a backup to my new 458 as the longer discharge and charge times aren’t to my liking. Still works great for me though. I never upgraded my software and dont plan to as I’m afraid of bricking it.

I had somewhat of a similar issue. I used the USB cable supplied with the charger. However my windows 11 OS wouldn’t recognize the charger at all. I had to boot into Ubuntu linux. The charger mounted properly as an external drive and I was able to copy the firmware file over to the charger.

Could be 3 reasons....

1) you plug in the balancer cable in a wrong way.
2) one cell of the battery is bad, that you can measure with a volt meter or a lipo checker.
3) the charger is bad.

My M8D gets here tomorrow. Super stoked. My ISDT Q6’s have been working decent enough since 2017, but it’s time for a little upgrade!

New firmware announced on their facebook page. Its not up on their website yet, probably in a rush to leave for the holidays and forgot to update their site.
