Default California Instruments 3091LD - 222 error

Dear all friends,

I am working on California Instruments 3091LD. I could not do any test on UUT. It pops on -222 error message.
It said that "Parameter data send with command is out of range. Check mode or range settings."

I tried to adjust the range but it is not allowing me to do anything.

Anyone have any clue to fix, please?

Thank you very much,

Almost certain it's your Rockwell Retro Encabulator. They are know to fail with the 3091LD.

Just having some fun, but I really doubt you will get much input. Even though this forum is called Radio and Electronics, it is as it applies to Radio Controlled vehicles. I googled and found this website that has a forum that will be much more equipped to help you. Good luck.

I doubt he's a spammer, California Electronics was sold to Ametek in the mid-2000's. I used their AC load generators when I was studying engineering, haven't seen one in a long time.

I don't have access to one any more to help the OP, but hopefully he finds the right place to work out how to fix it.

Then it is a bot. No normal intelligent person (I asume with such a product) with such a qestion would make an account on a RC car forum to ask this question.

We do see more and more people with non RC related questions comming to this site. For de most you can guess they are bots or spammers due the way they make a 1st post or try ti mingle into the RC community w/o any talk about their RC. Again, why would someone with a non RC related question come to a RC forum? Even if I do a google on his question I do see tons of articles and even forum topics on electronic forums where his question suits better.
Is it just that this subforum is called "Radio and electronics"? Even then a smart guy would have seen it is not more than RC electronics. I may be hard but I do see more and more people dump questions everywhere.
