Speaking of the Mini Z, I guess I should have waited because I paid nearly $50 to get the module shipped to me. its msrp is $29.99 at Kyosho and in stock (US)

As far as I know, you can't do that on the radio itself. You can however, use the Flysky PC backup tool and do it through there even though it wasn't designed to be used in that way.
What you can do via the tool is first backup all your models. After, you can delete the models on your transmitter via the tool by loading the models, in some cases, one by one, to the new desired slot. This will make sense once you start doing it. Yes it's cumbersome but the tool wasn't even designed for that in the first place and there is no other way on this radio. Model list configuration is not something that's common for most RC surface radios.

Sorry to barge in. I just joined to ask how you were able to get a replacement screen from FS. Ive been trying for a while and my screen is also shot. The wire split in two.
any reply would be greatly apprciated.

Looks like my LHS is selling parts now (see link above). Should make the radio even more compelling. I'm curious if they will sell replacement batteries so I can hot-swap them during a race if I forget to charge or something.

Very interested in the NB4 radio and this thread has been a great resource. Just getting back into the RC world after a long hiatus - have a couple boys now that are enjoying their new mini-b's and a TRX4.
Is there any reason not to get the NB4 over the PRO? I'm going to build a 1/10 buggy soon and will need a transmitter. The NB4 ticks all the boxes for tx cost, rx cost, channels, stored vehicles, ease of use, etc. I'd be using this for my mini-t 2.0 brushless and any new vehicles I acquire which would likely include crawlers. Would prefer to not spend $400 when all I need I can get for $200-250 with the NB4. TIA

Has anyone tried upgrading the firmware on a regular NB4 to the NB4 Pro firmware? Curious to see if their enhancements in response rate are actually mechanical or software related. I would think since they can use the same receiver it's software related, I could be wrong through.

Just noticed that my LHS is selling replacement batteries. Nice to know that I can get a replacement when mine eventually dies. $50 is not that bad, especially since the battery is in an aluminium shell. I thought about getting one to have a spare and hot-swap while at the track if my battery gets low, but the battery lasts long enough anyway, and it's not like I can't just plug it in...

Is there a way to set the radio up so model 1 does not control model 2 and so on? Im finding this quite annoying... I can set my sanwa so each model has a specific ID so you do not accidentally get on track and monkey with your sub trims on model to accidentally when you're supposed to be driving car model 3
