My FGR4 should be here tomorrow so I will get my answer whether it’s a fgr4sV2 receiver issue or the transmitter is defective. If you feel up to it, I would appreciate it if you could check to see if you have the V2 small receivers in your box. Even more so if you were able to try to get them binded. I did not use the sideways bind plug technique with any of them and they all still seem to work flawless. I hope you get some answers soon, or find something that works, this radio really is fantastic, so it would be a bummer to see yours or anyones view of it tarnished from this. |

none of mine say V2 on them. just FGR4S.

I wouldn't come here to bash, just to get answers. It's just unfortunate for me that the people that should have the answers are on holiday for a few weeks  I'm patient and understanding, it will work out in the end!

Hey at least your getting help I posted a question on the dx5pro page and can’t get an answer from anyone. Looks like I should have went with the Noble after all.. |
I will be getting a V2 FGr4s in the mail soon from FlySky. They've told me it has extra reverse polarity protection and I'll take it apart once it gets here to see. I'll let you know if I can get it to bind.

It did do this to me once, the one time I was messing with 1 way. |

Two way - once finish it'll say binding complete. Mini-Z EVO - the same as one way. |
It makes sense. In 2 way the receiver can talk to the TX and tell if binding succeeded but in 1 way the receiver does not talk to the TX.

Brand new FGR4 v2 will not bind or update. Transmitter must be defective from the factory. |

Failsafe
am confused about the failsafe mode in the config. I am using the noble 4 for the techno MT 410 truck. the “OFF” on the channel means no filesafe mode ? so I need to set to 0 % instead? another thing is the small icon of negative and tick meaning is very confusing! |
Update- Returned radio to Hobbyking. They were great. Ordered a new one. Replacement works as intended. |
