I have no problem with FH5U. SSR servo in SXR mode also works fine. Try to bind it again.

3 of them arrived yesterday. I've tested it out on the bench. Worked fine

with FH5U. pgs hr servo in SXR mode also works fine in channel 1, but test using SSL with R modes set for parameter, it doesnt work

My one arrived today. Seems to work fine in FH5U mode. Don't have SSL or SXR servos to check. Wasn't expecting the plugs to be reverse orientation, my wires were trained for the other way.

I bought one too, and the socket slot can't govern the plugs to be reverse, my friend said wrong plug inserting (reverse) will not ruin the receiver.
can't expect more from such a bargain, i used SSL servo and can't use on FH5(U), but SSL on FH4T is ok, at least the servo will move.

Only thing I'm missing is a waterproof rating.

I would pretty much doubt about it as the plastic housing can't even prevent reverse plugging

Some of the Sanwa receivers are waterproof despite having a very leaky case. A conformal coating on the PCB should be all that's required. And this clone can prevent reverse plugging for Futaba style connectors with the side tab, it has the opening.

Update on my unit. After 2 laps I got a massive radio glitch. Nearly wrote my car off. Won't be trying this one again.

which one did you buy? the ones i got off amazon had awesome reviews ARX-482R havent went to the track yet

So one glitch and per definition the whole product is bad? Maybe the transponder close to the receiver (if you use one) or some bad cable/plug/battery?

Other ones might be better, mine might be defective. I meant I'm not using my one again. One big glitch straight away is enough to ruin my confidence in it. I've never had a glitch with my other receiver - which is a Slidelogy FH4 clone.

Transponder was a reasonable distance away from the receiver and all wires are in good condition.
