Then why bother commenting on a thread when it could be a helpful thread for people looking to save a few $$. The more people enjoying the hobby at a range of price points is going to be great for us all. If you are the driver that notices the difference and have the budget to spend the extra money, good for you, keep to your threads. Let's be supportive to all and find ways that more can enjoy and keep the hobby thriving.

That is obviously your opinion. If you have experience with them then please share. Otherwise, I have used them as it sounds like a lot of others without any issues. That was the point of the thread. If someone is looking to save a few $$, they are a good option.

I won't agree with you that they are a good option until I see data that they aren't slower than the real thing. People saying they feel just as fast is not good data. But if someone shows me the data that they are as fast, then I will agree with you 100%.

Hi all, has anyone got any feedback on these Dasmicro Sanwa knockoffs?
NetcruiserRC channel tried one in his Arrma and had nothing bad to say about it.
Packaging suggests a bind plug instead of a binding button.
Keen to hear on anyone's experiences. I'm considering one for 1/10 2wd e-buggy.

I got a couple from Banggood as they were cheaper for 2 than a Sanwa rx and so far so good. No instructions so took a bit of searching to bind them, but now they work well. Just going in some Tamiya rereleases so performance doesn't really matter, as long as they work. I've also only had them for a few weeks so can't comment on longevity

anyone have any experience with the MRX-482? it seems to be a Sanwa 482, but made my MuchMore and supports 8.4v. i have one coming and hoping it works well. i'm planning to put it in a ten-scte 3.0 with Maclan MMax8 200a 1/8th esc (8.4v bec setting), Protek 170SBL, Maclan MR4 3500 motor, and Maclan 2S V3 HV 8500mah battery. That would make all of the electronics HV compatible and get crazy torque/response from the servo without having to externally step down the voltage to components.
edit: the more i think about this the more i'm thinking 8.4v bec is really there for 4s powered setups. i don't think it would have the intended use with 2s.

I am going to give a DasMikro receiver a try. For the price, if it works great, than I can't complain. It will be a while before I can test it out though, even after getting it in the mail (so long as it isn't too delayed)
