Why? when Futaba receivers are dirt cheap compared to the Sanwa.... they are like $50 https://www.hobbytown.com/futaba-r20...tl7604/p222749

I got a replacement Dasmikro rx and it seems to be the same issue. I have my esc plugged into channel 2, power on and I get no led to blink or light up on the RX???
Does anyone know the exact procedure for binding a unit like this with a bind loop plug?

I'm so frustrated with the Dasmikro neither of them powered on, so I wanted to swap my Sanwa RX482 and i think I just fried it.
edit: figured it out, wiring on the plugs was causing it not to power on.

Plug bind cable into last port. Turn on tx and set to bind. Plug in Rx. Leave 10seconds. Done.
I'm just using it for VRCpro.
I'll get an SMD as a spare for the track.
So far really impressed for £20 delivered.

I just bought an RX-472 from a forum member. Didn't buy it for telemetry but it does show voltage without any add-ons. I'm set at 6 volt but can run at 7.4 volt with the servo I have. At 6 volt the telemetry is useless because I never go that low. Would it make sense to run at 7.4 and then I should see anything below that on my transmitter display? I know it's a little tougher on the servos from what I've heard. Am I making sense?

I appreciate the response. Actually this brings up a subject I have wondered about for quite a while. If you set your BEC at 7.4 volts what happens when your actual battery voltage goes below that, dropping all the way down to 6.4 volts or so before cut off. Wouldn't the BEC drop anytime you had less than 7.4 volts in the battery? Thanks

Thanks for responding. Mostly I do open practice sessions at a couple of race tracks in my area. I usually take two or three cars and it's nice to know when my battery starts getting low. I'd rather pull them off the track before the cutoff kicks in
