didn’t I say 1/10? Sct uses 1/8 motors?
to be fair, if you have one, use it unless you improved. If you are buying a new one, Tekin won’t be on my list at alll. Again, I am talking about 1/10 2s lipo with 540 size motors.

2wd sct yes, 4wd no.
that's ok. all personal preferences. as I said, if the OP has an old RS Pro, use it. To buy one now, new or used, NO. Maybe it's still good for drag racing? I don't know.

The Tekin Pro4 motor is a 540 motor and has won the ROAR 4wd SC nats, again just this year as matter of fact.
You also pulled up EOS races for "off road" which we only sponsors a few guys of that level, Hupo Honigl being one of them. Tekin just Tq'd the ROAR 17.5 2wd buggy class with the RS Pro BE and an off the shelf Spec R motor! On top of that Tyler Hooks just won the 4wd 13.5 ROAR National Championship with a RS Pro BE and Spec R 13.5 motor. Tyler took 2nd in both 2wd and ST Truck at the ROAR Nats. He was the ONLY truck clearing the quad on the track with the RS Gen2 and Spec R setup, of which the truck was then raffled off for breast cancer awareness!
If we really wanted to buy into that A main list of drivers, we most certainly could. We prefer to work with drivers that share our passion for top level racing products that ultimately benefit our customers.
Bd007 normally you post pretty factual info, but at this point I'm having to argue a bit here. Your sample of race fit your post, kudos to you for that.
Here's a challenge for you: find me a single company on that list that made an ESC upwards of 10 years ago, that can still even be considered to be used at the top genres of racing today like the Gen1 RS Pro. I'll wait.

No doubt Tekin RS was good and very popular and being one of the first ESCs with boost. That's why I told the OP to use it if he has one. Just that it won't be my first choice if I am going to buy a new or used one. I guess that suggestion is pretty fair.
