Default Multiple items needing power with a Spektrum SR3500

I've been out of R/C for a LONG time. I'm getting back into it racing F1 and I bought a car that has a cooling fan for the motor. How should I power this along with the transponder while using an SR3500 micro receiver? Is it possible?

You can use power splitters:

That looks like two plugs going to one socket, but I would imagine they make them the other way around, right? I just wanted to make sure that using a splitter is something that's commonly done and won't overload the receiver.

You can use SPM1516 Y Harness or Park Zone PKZ1063 depending on which is easier to grab.

Well, I wasn't suggesting buying that one specifically, but showing that there are splitters out there that can be used. Generally though, you want to split between two lesser needed components like transponder and fan (rather than ESC or steering servo).
