I pulled it off a old computer.... go to Amazon put in heat sinks and decide which one you want. I haven't decided how I was going to do the finished product yet. once I get the heatsink I want I will get a part number for you

just use a warming lipo bag when you charge , no need to dump the packs at 30-40 amps , isn't the main purpose of that to heat them up? tested both ways on the track same results , little lower resistance from the same pack when just using the warming bag.

Isn't a warming bag illegal at most races? I've seen 4 lipos go up in flame. 3 have been from warming bags / blankets (in all cases from experienced racers) and the other from a turbo charger gfx.

I'll put it this way ... i would not pit next to a person using a warming blanket.

I think it is much safer than discharging and charging with 40 amps........

I wouldn't pit next to people doing 40 amp discharging either. I think that's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I'm guessing most people would sue you if you injured them or burnt down the building because you decided to charge / discharge in an unsafe way.

Every club nite were banging our packs at 40 up and down. Over 30 club racers doing it everyday not one problem. Wait then there is J Smoker. But other then that it's the 1/8 guys that blow there shit up.

You discharge at more than 40Amps during racing in many classes, all lipos should handle that easily.

With anything comes common sense. you can use a warming pouch to keep your battery warm, not cooking, if you discharge your packs down to 6v or 6.4 or so you will be able to use a warming pouch to keep your pack at a nominal temp until you are ready to charge, then you can charge them at 6 amps if you like and they will be at a good temp to run. All you have to do is time your charging according to your run. The real danger to me is cooking your batteries at high amps just so you can charge in 10 min.
