What a great weekend of racing! I placed ahead of those I set out to, and a few more. Much respect to all that participated. It was a pleasure running with you all.

Kahuna... catch me if and when you can. Simply call if you need a run and I will be there.

MtNitro... Thank you for leading me back to the hobby Pops. We will forever be a team. I look forward to running together in mini for the last race at the C.

My 2nd ever TCS and I made the big show! The mini Cooper A main with the likes of "That Rotten Hanson Kid", Fast Manny, John C., Ray K, RCDave, The good Red Dot Doctor, Mark T, Austin and Andy. I'm still in shock. I was way off the pace, barely getting out of the way of all you fast guys. But it felt good to be there.

Special thanks to the Coliseum crew. Casey, Joe, T.J. and John S. for running a neat and tidy program. As well as Richard and Deborah for hosting.

Default tcs race

Had a great time at the tcs race yesterday. It was nice to see all of the tcs regulars.

The asphalt track surface is perfect, and the traction is just right (somewhat realistic and your shoe no longer comes off when you walk on it.)

I have many good memories of racing both weekly and at many tcs races over the years. I am sad that the track will close, it is a great facility.

I will definitely be out 8/31 for the final race, so I can once again blow all the corners, continue to look for jumps, and try to remove traction from my cars.

See you all at the end of the month!!!

Sunday was a great day of racing for me. I did not do as well as I would have like too, but it was all about being there more then anything. The TCS Races have been a lot of fun to be a part of over the past years here at Hobbytown USA.
I'm looking forward to the race on the 31th but said to see that day come at the same time. That will be the mark of a very sad day.
I have always injoyed racing here and have got to know so many great people.
I'm so glade that my son David is able to get back into racing. It's been great racing with and against you.But we are not done. The first tcs racing l finished ahead of you. This time you finished ahead of me. That make it one each in minis, So the 31th it's on son!!!

Just wanted to say I had a great time Sat and Sun racing. You guys ran a great program nice and smooth and everyone was friendly. The track was excellent as well. It's a real shame the track is closing.

Default TCS Race

Awesome racing guys!

Casey Castleman and Joe Mayne, thank you for running such a great race. Richard, thank you for the track.

It was really great to race with the guys that I have not seen in quite some time!! The racing was awesome.!

Mini and F1 class, hooffaaah. Great races to watch (after Qing in the lowest main in mini).

Jamie Hanson once again shows us how to get it done. Mini class this time... I have never witnessed a more effective sandbagger Watching him make up what must have been 4 seconds after a tough start to take the win. Manny was way, way out front but Jamie just slowly reeled him in. I was sweating just watching.

Dave banks lays it down again in F1. Great drives to both of you and you both deserve the win in tough tough hard-fought class. John C great job in mini and thank you for the loaner body and chassis. I hope I didn't kill that body

Been racing dirt for a bit, but I will miss the C. It is and will ever be the best asphalt track that I have ever had the pleasure to drive my toy cars on.

I hope to see all of you again. Just not-so-long between times...

Thank you to Casey and the rest of the Coliseum crew for their hospitality and running a great program all weekend. Congrats to all the winners, including my son

Mini A main was amazing to watch.

A big thank you to Manny for the handling tips on the mini. Without that the mini would have been a handful.

A special thank you to my traveling mates, Kregger and Chicken Little, for giving me a hand when my battery crapped out in my car on the way home. The use of Lipos to jump the car did cross my mind.

Alright guys!!! The 31st is fast approaching, and I need to start building my mini. Are we racing TCS spec minis or should I solder up my 'hot' motor?

TCS spec has been the flavor of local mini racing for a while now ! Plus I don't think you want me to bolt in Red Dot horsepower !

Works for me. I wanted make sure I didn't bring a knife to a gun fight. It appears we'll have a repeat of the intense mini racing action for this race, I can't wait!
