last year nats had a extra track day for pradctice provided by host track

Keep in mind that I don't have any control over how any of this goes but I did speak with Bob This week and the plan as I understand it is to have 2 hours of "open" practice in the am, then 2 seeding rounds, then MAYBE another hour or 2 of open practice in the pm. I just want everyone to undrstand that we will do the best we can to make sure that everyone gets their entertainment value out of their entry money. It's tough to get all 285 entries to on the track for an equal amount of practice but I'm sure that the RMT will do the best they can to make it happen.

Just my opinion here, so take it with a grain of salt I guess...
I respect what you're trying to accomplish by limiting practice to just Thrusday, and your reasoning for it is perfect, but only two rounds? People are spending hundreds of dollars to get to this race, on top of hundreds more on tires and prep, on top of a steep entry fee, just to get two rounds of practice? I think a better option would be start as early as possible Thursday morning and finish as late as possible Thursday night, running as many practice sessions as possible. Why are we limiting it to just two rounds? Let us get as much time on track as possible.

And by the way, I made laps on the Nats layout tonight, and don't worry, they won't let me enter, even thought it's in my backyard, so I can't get dq'd. Track is fun, I struggled to break 50 seconds so I'm sure the pro's will be turning high 30's. Pics maybe tomorrow.

Glad you had great weather to work on everything, although we seen you turn 3-4 inches of rain in Two hours into a dry track in a few hours.See you Wed.

Kevin is going in 15 different directions right now. He is going to do everything in his power to make sure everyone gets everything they can out of this event. His hands are tied on how the race is run though.
Who cares about pics, you will see the track in 3 days anyway. He is a little busy right now getting things finished up so taking pictures and posting them is probably on the bottom of his list.

Hotel Rooms
I have 2 rooms available from the Wed the 20th to the Sun the 24th that guys will not be using now because they can not go. They are at the Budget Inn 1-717-436-2127. If you can please let me know, I am past the 72 hour cancellation time and they are going to charge me for at least one night. I will set everything up for you. Pass the word around as well if you can.
