Can you guys help me out I'm planning to attend and I was wondering how far is 1900 NW 173 ave from the race? My wife's best friend live near that address and I don't know if I should book a hotel room.

Sorry I just found out she lives in Breaverton. How far is that from Portland?

You mean Beaverton? - it's a suburb of Portland about 10miles outside of town if I recall correctly.

Yes it's Beaverton. I'm glad it's not far. Can anyone tell me how long it would take to get to the track from Beaverton I debating getting a hotel room for the race.

Ophidian, probably about 20 - 35 minutes. The reason for the 15 minute time swing is because of traffic, if you are talking morning or afternoon rush hour it's going to tack some extra time onto your trip. My guess is you'll be able to avoid rush hour so I'd go for it and save the expense on the hotel bill.

If you're asking if you can just drive the track just to drive the track but since the track will be a temporary one setup only for the ROAR National's, I'd venture to say it will only be for those entered in the race. That being said though, you might be able to "sneak" a run or two on it the Tuesday before the controlled practice starts. If you're asking if anyone can enter the Nationals, yes, everyone is welcome.
