I would be in for that.

hmmm...that means I need new a vintage body for my Cyclone and the wheels...

It sounds cool - but I'm really on the fence for running the bodies in ALL the classes...I got 1 vintage body - but I'd need another then...hmmmmm

but what about the mod nitro class - are we going to be limited to only running the vintage wheels in that class? or leave it open and allow foams for the mod nitro class???

My thought was to use the vintage bodies only, and make the vintage tires and wheels optional in all classes. This way, all you'd need is another body....You could use any HPI wheel and tire, as per the class rules.....

Again, this is just a thought, and not a rule. Just opening things up for dialog while we got time to kill.....

Yes, we could come up with seperate vintage classes as well....We can RLL either way......

I'll bring the Baja with me. Let me know when you have a flyer ready for the race as I'll post it at my PT job at Allied Hobbies

BOTH!!!!! If there isn't enough for either class, we can still run them together and score them seperatly....

Hey Ray,
Since it now looks like this race may be a combination of the on-road challenge and the off-road challenge, the way it used to be, can we get a listing of the proposed classes and the rules that go along with them that you are considering running? We're going to have to start getting ready and Id like to know wheather to set up a rally car, stock sedan, vintage sedan, mod micro, savage or whatever...I personally would love to see it run like the one held at the Home Depot. Also, HPI/HB lists a spec tire for the stock electric class in thier rules, will these be available the day of the race or will they be something we need to bring with us???

Hey Kevin!!!! WhassuPP???

Yeah, the specs for each class is listed on www.hpiracing.com

It'll be exactly like the Homey Depot race where we had obsticles/jumps on the asphalt for the offroad classes!

We'll have an onsite hobby shop (D&K Hobbies) at the track, and they plan to have what we need on race day....Their shop is only three miles down the road as well....

How many rally peeps are still left up there???? We still have a few diehards left, so chances are good that we can still have a great class.....
