I have a question about mini, is there a rule on the tires this year. We ran pre-mounts tires last year on gray rims, are they legal?

The 1016 Pre-mount may be used if you have them. There's no measurable performance difference between the tire that you have been allowed to build on your own from the 2018 rules and the 1016 pre-mount. In fact, you're better off building your own because you are able to glue the foam insert together. The 1016 pre-mounts insert was not glued together unfortunately. To some that may matter, to others it may not. Anyway, if you have them feel free to use them up.
Merry Christmas Eve to all!! =)

Good luck to all the racers at today's RC CAR WORLD TCS regional race! Please take plenty of pics of the winers, cars and pits! =)
I'm new to the TCS and have a question about what F1 tires are allowed in 2019. I have a few sets with the TCS logo on the sidewall which I believe is the 2017 IIC spec tire. The rules state only F104 tires are allowed. Legal part numbers would help clarify. I'm thinking the only legal tires are 51399, 51400, 54198 and 54199 and not the TCS logo tire. Correct?

1. Tire conditioners are allowed, but may be restricted at certain venues. (Some TCS host sites do not allow additives due to ventilation issues)
2. Tires may not enter the TECH inspection area in a wet condition.
3. Tire warmers are not allowed in the tech inspection area. They may be used after the
car has passed technical inspection.
4. It is not permitted to drill extra vent holes on the wheels for the purpose of altering
the performance and grip level of the tire. Enlarging the existing vent hole is also prohibited. Exception: In the F-1 rubber class, when using items 1031 and 1032 (high grip rubber tires) on Tamiya wheels that don’t have any holes (e.g. Tamiya foam wheels), it is permitted to drill one hole. Note: The hole may not exceed 2mm in diameter.
5. Any tire insert may be used in classes that have OPEN Tamiya tire rules.
6. “Spec” pre-mounted rubber tire classes may not remove the installed insert.
7. It is not permitted to apply super glue on the horizontal surface of the tire to alter
traction characteristics.
8. Running rubber tires with no inserts is permitted and legal in the open tire classes.
9. Asphalt Surface Races: GT-2 & GT-1 classes: House Spec Tire Rules. See Matrix
Below for Specific Location House Tires used.
10. Carpet Surfaces Races: GT-2 & GT-1 classes: See Matrix Below for Specific
Location House Tires used.
11. M-Chassis, F1, Euro Truck, GT Novice, and GT Pro Spec must use the specified Tamiya branded tires called out in the class specific rules. See class specific rules.
F1 tires 1031,1032
wheels 51378 black or 54400 silver 54526 white

Thanks for the F1 rubber clarification! I was overthinking it and thought the part had to be specifically for the F104 kit. Glad the good tires are legal!
From the TCS 2019 F1 rules:
"5. Tire Rules: Tamiya F104 rubber tires only."
"5. Tire Rules: Tamiya F104 rubber tires only."

The new motor rules state that aftermarket heatsinks are no longer allowed, but fans are permitted. Does that mean that these types are no longer legal to use?
I do not see a Tamiya motor heatsink that has a fan attached.

You will need to seperate the fan from the heat sink. You can stick the fan to the chassis with double sided tape. Or use a fan mount like the motor fan mount from R1wurks. Or similar companies product.

Are there intentions to strongly tech the Euro Trucks at the TCS races? Enforcing body cut lines, mirrors, hitches, shocks being stuffed with foam, tires with the treads glued.... A definition for excessive ballast? Slow people want to know... so we can do that too. :-)
I too would like an approved list of cheats for all classes
