Default Making the trip from So Cal what is turnout like

There does not seem to be any interest in this thread. What can we expect as far as turnout.

I understand 4300 is ok for 19t class but can we build the 4300 with the sintered rotor and new upgraded endbell or do we have to leave it stock.

Yes to your first two questions regarding the 4300.

Hi.. the turnout is always fantastic. You gotta cruise up.. just go to their website and check out the entries / results from last year.
This is the same track we ran the carpet nats this year on. (same location not layout)

I undestarnd you have a cool track in LA.. I here norcal vs socal?

Lots of socalers come up for this race/

Hope to see you..

I heard a rumor! There may be a modified foam class. It would be nice to get the cars ready for the snowbirds if they allow it.

For Sure!

I don't see it happening. Here's why, if there were a lot of interest for foam tire I'm guessing Ruben would have put it on the entry form. Looking at the weekly results it appears that all TC classes have been rubber tire. I think I'm going to stick with rubber tire, whether it be Mod or 19T.

UPDATE ...... there have been some inquires into starting a Mod Foam class at this years NWCC. If there is enough interest we will allow for a seperate mod foam class.

Hubb is right to a point, 95% of the guys in our area will not run foam in any TC class. Reasons are too much work and too much $$$$$$$$$. Rubber is where it's at in Nor Cal with a few mavrick's that want foam.

TRESFR ..... to answer your questions regarding BL for the NWCC or Stockton RC Raceway in general. Currently the Novak 4300 is allowed in the 19 turn class with the endbell and rotor upgrades. The Novak 13.5 is allowed in stock with sintered rotor. As far as your comment on interest the NorCal guys don't stop here often so you won't see them on RCTECH. This race has traditionaly been well attended and I'd expect no less this year.

I had a great time last year at this event, but won't return this year because of the lack of foam tires classes. Sorry to be that proverbial one racer you can't please, Ruben.

So are the Socal mod guys that are coming up going to run mod rubber or foam? I'm down for mod but if it's foam I'll chill in the 19 turn class.
