Concur - I am making plans to 'come inside' later in the fall. Would like to find a place running RCGT where I can change a gear or two and keep on running.

Love the idea of oval racing on Sundays. Is this a popular class? Don't have an oval car yet, but if there is a good group running, it would not take much to nudge me to the hobby store...

We have a good group running 17.5 truck on oval Sunday. As soon as the seasons starts it will be game on. For sat. I think you will be very happy and find a class with low cost to you. We will talk Sun. Make sure you introduce yourself

I mounted the 17.5 motor on my TC. What would be a good baseline setup for the FDR using the 17.5 motor with no timing/turbo boost? I was thinking 4.1 - 4.3 range.

Start there but be prepared to go lower if need like 3.4-3.8 range.

Thanks Troy. I might finally get to use that 50T pinion I have. I'll have to keep a close watch on motor temps.

Default Updates on Cash Race and Fall Point Series

Fresh news on the cash race 8/28/2010. Jaco Blues will be the spec tire. This race is going to be good. Don't miss it!!

For the fall point series staring 9/4/2010 we will be trying something new to offset the troubled economic times. We will be offering a flat rate if you pre-enter for any one class. The fee will be $75.00 for all seven races payable before the first race of the series. You will be issued a race voucher card from me to check off when you come into race. You don't need to make every race but it makes it worth your while. The voucher will only be good for the fall series. Depending on your interest we may extend another offer for the winter series. Don't miss out on this, if you think about it you'll be saving two race entries (or $30.00) over the seven week series. There will still be one throwout.

Stay tuned for final classes including a semi spec 17.5 touring class.

What an exciting race in the SCT class!! I think I had just as much fun marshalling as did the guys racing. I should have my Blitz ready to go by next week. I can't wait to join in on the fun.

Shaun - Get your SC10 dialed in. We need to catch up to Sam, Sean and the rest of the SCT crew.
