TQRC charge $11.99 for shipping of a body to Canada from Chino California. They use USPS with tracking. Usually takes 7-9 days to arrive. I've ordered a few bodies from them. However, they don't carry McAllister.

Thanks for the lead on perfirmance hobbies, Gary. They don't appear to have any 1970 camaro vta bodies in stock, but hopefully I can get them to bring one in.

At last weekends TOYS for TOTS race at Cal R/C Raceway in Orange CA. My son qualified in the "B" main after having some electrical issues in qualifying... Won the "B", transferred to the "A" - starting 11th, and worked his way to a 4th place finish with "White Lightning" (the White McAllister Firebird)
It's fun to see a few McAllister bodies on the track against the sea of HPI and handful of ProtoFORM bodies.

I had to try one of these new RPM Intake/Blower assembly units. They are too cool! Yes, I 100% understand that they are not representative of the VTA class. But, they are representative of countless hot rods and street rods. For a 70's car guy, this is a great touch!
The angle looks pretty good for most hoods, but you can resand it to change that angle, no problem. The assembly comes in chrome or black plastic versions. Two bolts come up through an RPM plastic reinforcement plate on the underside. The pulley bolts into the front.

[QUOTE=ViperZ;13731805]I found time to get my 68 Camaro VTA painted. I wanted to make a replica of my fathers friends 68 Z/28. The HPI doesn't have the same cowl induction hood, so close enough. It was the same color scheme, just not a SS 396.
Well done! Love the silver!
