I've been working on my third "General Lee" Charger/Challenger. We are making do with the Challenger body to keep it VTA legal Still, it looks nice.
I used liquid mask to get the front grill to look more like a charger and the same approach with the tail lights. Also put front window side vents on like the Charger had. I just have a little more work to do tonight to get it glued up and the spoiler mounted. He's running the one that I airbrushed for him previously.
I think this new one will be his "show" body. The previous one is his "go" body.

I am even more impressed when I see that you did all that with a Pashe t-shirt gun.

I used to use an expensive Thayer & Chandler airbrush, but I swear that thing would clog spraying pure water. The Paasche dual-action with a medium tip and straight Faskolor just doesn't. The only time I get problems is if I go too long between full cleanings. So it's the airbrush I'm sticking with for now. And, our local Hobby Lobby stocks parts for it.

The Paasche is like the AK-47 of airbrushes. It will operate dirty because it has just enough slop in it to allow it to. My Thayer and Chandler was a cheap one. Still it was a ton better than the Badger that I started with at twice the price.
Right now I am spraying with an Iwata Eclipse. I am pretty happy with it. Has the little cup on top. I think it holds a quarter ounce of paint at a time. I've never used a VL. It always looked so fat to me. It apparently works well for you. With RC bodies, I don't see the need for an expensive micron.

Not exactly period correct, but I really like the paint scheme.
"It is highly preferred that bodies are detailed in race type livery in period-correct paint schemes. Fluorescent colors, wild graphics, chromes and non-period correct paint schemes are frowned upon."
