Hey Mark, that's a great looking J71 body. It kinda reminds me of the Toyota GT One.

Here is my latest VTA. It's based off of Christi Edelbrock car. And its only the 3 body I have ever painted. I did make a few mistakes but I am very pleased with it.

Thanks! Back when I was 11 and racing slot cars I used that paint job cause it was quick and easy, 2 pieces of tape and 2 colors. I'm not artistically gifted when it comes to painting or masking. It was supposed to be a take off of the Marlboro cars when I first did it 20 years ago. I added the pinstipe just to break up the colors a little. Its got a few mistakes, I was in a hurry when I masked it so some red got through. But I'm not worried, it'll get torn up soon enough.

Buy the Chrome Matte rims.

http://www.hpiracing.com/hpiwheels/touring/

Then you can add some flare by hand painting the spokes with a brush & bottled modeler's paint.

I like that! I was going to comment that the driver screen is on the wrong side but don't you drive on the wrong side of the road down there'

Sith Lord, nice paint. Great example of Camaro paint scheme that doesn't have stripes.

-----------

Here in the U.S. (and many other countries) we drive our cars on the right side of the road. In England and many former British colonies, they drive from the right side of the car. My question is who is really "right"?

Thanks for the positive comments guys. A combination of 2 or 3 existing paint jobs from this forum inspired me for the scheme. Thanks! Yes, I was waiting for the right hand drive comments . I've also got the Tamiya right hand drive driver cockpit tray ready to go in to
