I was just thinking blue camo about an hour ago. The vision I had was a coat of Transparent blue over the whole body then cure and liquid mask the camo design. The camo would be done with different shades of metallic backing coat. Light blue metallic, turquoise metallic, pink metallic and silver. Waddayareckon?

Excellent job Scott. That design is a breath of fresh air compared to other "cookie cutter" TC designs you see. Its not only tribal and scallops and such, which isn't a bad thing. I've actually contemplated doing a simular design but for a motorcycle helmet (i got an old one that i can practice on) and that body sealed the deal. I'm gonna try it out. Great work man, i love the colors as well.

Edit: What color is that silver? just regular old silver? (does it have a metal flake in it?)

Carbonator, that sedan body is amazing! I realy like the tight design and real fine shading. What brush are you using for the fine shades?

Thanks man. The silver is FASCHROME SATIN straight from the bottle. It has a lot more metal flake in it then the FASPEARL SILVER, and it covers much better too. Let me know how the helmet turns out. That sounds interesting. I'm sure John Edmond would like to see it too. He monitors these threads as well.

I'm using an Iwata HPC+ . No extra fine needle or whatso ever.

But the most important is a steady hand and patience, you need to take some time for it.

Heres 3 shells for Shopkeeper. Design by McGoo which Shopkeeper has been running for a couple years: I owed Shopkeeper for all the rides to the track, and for a near totaled Nastruck

And the headlights I was working on...learn something new everytime I paint. WOOT!
