Hi, my first post here... this is my first VTA body. Painted it using tamiya rattle cans. Should have gone a little heavier in the rear quarter panel as you can see through to the double sided tape. But besides that im very pleased at how it turned out!

Yeh, the new version of chrome is an improvement over the previous one, not that the old one was bad! The shine is equal or better and as you mention, it covers better too.

Thanks Jim , nice work there yourself - the first one reminds me of the old "West McLaren F1 car logos" and I am loving the angry birds lol and liking the pink striped roofed truck as it is something different.
