I guess gearing was to high and i have no slipper, but i was told to get two 5S packs and a 1000kv motor to be on the right side with the electronics. weel maybe i will build this one as a speedcar.

I guess 4S is not an option, i want to go fast so next year i will build a 1/10 235mm pan car instead.
what's gearing n batt mah?

After the ESC went, I replaced it for a new one, and it immediately broke after switching it on. Turned out to be a damaged sensor board in the motor.

After switching from 6S lipo to 4S, I never had a problem like that again, other problems occure then

As you can see in your first movie in where you drive together with some nitro 8th scale cars, you can see the big disadvantage of driving 6S lipo, mounted next to the car, it handles like crap. The weight is around 500grams more, and hanging on both sides of the car, giving the car to much roll....
My 4S 966e handles almost like his nitro powered bigger brother (I still believe nitro powered is the bigger brother )

But the problem with 4S lipo, is runtime. I have not yet been able to go flat out and reach 5 minutes.

Stories I read here about 8 minutes runtime, might be true on a small track, bur running at the MACH track, a real 8th scale track, like we have a lot in Europe, is a real challenge, atleast, if you also want to have some decent topspeed.....
i have tried alot as well.
one H/W ESC one RX8 . 6S and 4S 2650KV to 1950 KV.
i have settled for RX8 on 4S , Orion 1950KV motor, 6500 70C 2S packs in series to make 4S. gearing 24t pinion, and 44T spur. top speed needs to improve, but to race for 5 mins and push hard from start to finnish is not a problem here. its also on a large track, even though top speed from EP tourer is down maybe 25k/hr, the lap time is 1 sec faster, and on overall time that makes for about 1.5-2 laps faster than EP touring Mod.

although i have settled for this, i am still thinking about other ways to run . but its all time and money. after October here, when our Gas Nats are done, ill look to try some more things. but generally if you want to run 6S, id be looking at 1700KV or lower. 4S around 2000KV, these seem to be safe as far as not burning out your gear.

At the moment the FDR is 6.48 to1. I plan on going to 5.4 to 1 by changing the pinion to a 24T. It's fast but I have no real way to know how fast. Don

I'm still trying to use the standard saddlepack layout, but i think I also need to go to a 2x2S lipo layout (like your car), because of lipo capacity.
All in time...
I'm also testing the 4S lipo powered F180, really nice!, and the GT.
And at the moment I'n running the 12th scale worlds......

Hard braking brings the rear around immediately. I wish the Tx or SC had real antilock braking. Turn in is quick vs a ball diff. I couldn't figure a way to mount a 6s A123 pack. I'm going to run it again after I regear it. The motor is a Novak 7.5 HV. I thought it best to stay with 4s. Don

A123 cells are more robust and more tolerant of abuse. And I have a bunch on hand. Don
