Hi MarkA

The rear Dampener top plate came in today. so this is something we will also try and also try a wider track width plus duramoter the tires on Tuesdays lunch break with Grenade.

Maybe between Hot and Sour soup

Rinkrat, on my I Force (3 shock setup) I am running Wind tunnel long king pins with red progreesive springs and 5 deg caster blocks, on the rear I have 20w shock oil and the silver Assoc springs. the car is at 200mm width and has jaco pinks (r) and purples (f) with 4 cell 19t I could peg it out of the corners without spinouts. I used odorless paragon on the rears only and still have traction at the end of a 6 min race. On asphalt, untreated. maybe it will be of help.

Rinkrat - I'll bring the MaxMod Durometer with me at lunch as well as wide axel if I can find the correct parts.

MarkA - when he started, the front was 2-3mm lower in the front, silver shock spring and suntan lotion on front and rears.

On the C10X, I run Corally Silver and Green rears, with Gold Star M or H fronts, and have the car running well. I do have some very soft front springs to get weight transfer front and back. Car looks like a NASCAR with 2-3" movement in the front.

TallyRC - If I end up with the auction, I'll let you know on the axel. However Rinkrat needs one as well.

Nice updates from all the other racers. Must be getting to pavement racing time!!!

Be aware that there's more to the RC4less tires than "meets the eye or durometer...". Hold one of their pinks next to a TRC pink and run your thumb with some pressure across it laterally - you'll notice a lot less resistance/grip. There is just something "different" about them.

Not bashing RC4less - if I raced oval, I'd run 'em but they were no good for roadcourse and believe me, because of price, we really tried and wanted them to be.

Ouch – running the front lower than the rear like that is pan car suicide – it won’t work on the highest bite tracks…

I normally run the chassis level, or the front 0.5 to 1mm lower than the rear.

Got a durometer reading of the RC4Less Pink Rears (26ish), Purple Fronts (33ish)
BSR Purples (38ish) and this is what I need to try is the BSR Fronts on the car.

You know I did meet Rinkrat for lunch, and brought my Durometer. The rears were 26-30 but the fronts were only 32-36. My guess is too much steering.

Also, after reading your post, the foam did look a little different and felt different as well. I'll have to bring some Jaco, Corally and check them as well.

The last new one I got from Stormer had them with it. I might be able to make some templates prior to painting the new body.

I'll post back here if I can get this done.

I found a set of side dams in my shed.
I sold someone a few bodies awhile back. Speak up and I'll mail them to you.
And yes you can make them I've done it before.

"Grenade10 : YES....YES....YES...YES!"
Does this mean you are going to bid?
I stand back. But I'm telling you warpspeedbatteries is a tough ebayer.
