Has anyone dealt with greatmodels before?

The only thing I can find now is the AE NISSAN.
Never dealt with that place before but that's a good price on that body.

Sorry about the SoCal ordering thing. I will no longer be recommending anyone that cannot pick the car up in person order from them.

Make sure you have four good tires on it and bring it out.

Runtime will be the limiting factor in what motor you use and how you set it up.

Default L2.5--L3

i never liked the tri-shock system(found it inconsistant and a pain to rebuild trackside) or the dampener disks(too loose) so i came up with an alterative. for those interested it goes as follows. start with 2 CRC dampener tubes, using a mini tubing cutter, cut them down to 30mm. take the inside plastic shaft and cut off 15mm(2 rings left) now slide a .018 spring inside the tube and fill with your choice of dampener fluid, slide the shaft in and your done. the springs inside put just a hair of preload on the tubes and help it to react quicker than dampener tubes alone.

i am trying to post pictures but it keeps telling me that the file is too big.stand by i will keep trying

Just finished up the mill work on my L2 chassis, I'll post some pics later. I took off a lot of material, not so much to save weight, but more to make it look like something out of 2004 rather than 1990.

I got a bunch of red screws, but I think I'll just use polished aluminum for the main parts. That way I dont have to wait for anything to come back from the anodizer.

That's surprising. I actually ordered my L2 a few weeks ago from SocalRC's website. Ordered it on a Monday and received it on Thursday. Got an e-mail with the order confirmation the same day and all of the tracking information with a direct link to UPS's tracking website.
