1/10th pan car

That's a very good idea. But in the regular on-road forum, the pan thread may easily be washed down to the bottom of the list due to inadequate posting. Just kidding
This move is more political than just convenience. It is the pan thread that keeps the Oval & Larger Scales forum alive.
MarkA I think there isn't a real problem if we pro10 guys post in the on-roads. I've seen very unrelated threads in the on-roads forum.
BTW you may be aware as well, someone started a pro10 thread in the on-roads a few days ago. But one of the us asked him to contribute in the pro10 thread under Oval & Larger Scales forum instead.
To revive pro10, it would be helpful if we can post pics of pro10's in these forums like the tc guys do. I enjoy their tc pics as well. Don't you?

I think we have more than enough posts and posters to keep this to the top of the other forum. I just don't want to start a new Pro10 thread over there and have this one that is so long with lots of good stuff in it die. I'd like to see the whole thread relocated like what they did with the 12th scale one.

For anyone looking for a tropical Caribbean vacation, may I suggest the island of Curacao?
It looks like they have a pretty neat RC Racing Club there.
Here are their race results for the Pro10 class: http://www.geocities.com/rcboyscur/C...stand_gtp.html .
And, their track.

You mean going there to race or to watch a race? If I had to bring my rc gear and equipment, this vacation would be a nightmare.

BTW. What is your average load? I mean how many power supplies, chargers, battery packs, motors, tires, back-up rc's...... do you normally carry to the track?

MarkA: I'm in dood....let's go!!!!
I'm going to Dallas in March to visit my best bud that moved there earlier this year, and we already have a racing schedule set up. Is that sick or what??!?!?! My girl and his wife are gonna be doing ALOT of shopping...heh heh
rcethilon: 1 power supply, 2 chargers, 'some' batteries, 'some' motors, 'some' tires, BUTTLOAD of parts, and one or two cars, depending on what i'm planning on running.
....all fits in one AE carrier bag and one Dirtbags duffle. They're both DAMN heavy, but, I can make it all fit....

When moving to race: the same but multiplied by..... bmuch. The last time I moved more than 140lbs on material: Wheels, motors, spares, several bodys to test, practice batts and race batts, the lathe, 2 chargers, tons of additive..... I'm going sick only on thinking

I'm pretty much inline with everyone else, perhaps I bring even a little less. 1 Charger, 1 Power Supply, 1 Radio and 1 Car 'cause that's all I own. I have 3 race packs (2400's) but only 1 practice pack (a 3000 that I just keep recharging, it sucks anyway) and that’s it. I usually have 1 good motor in the car and just one freshly cut and ready to go spare in case the something goes wrong with the first one. Since I've only been using one compound of tires for the past few years now for the tracks I run on, I don't need to carry many of those either.
I do bring a lot of tools and spare parts for the car though. At times, I carry enough spares to build another car if I had another chassis. You just never now what rare part you might break in a place where you can't get any parts (Hobby People in Camarillo for example).

I bring a tranasmitter (of course), a power supply, 2 to 3 chargers, one pair of spare front and one pair of rear premounted tires, 5 packs of grey Panasonic 3000's, a bottle of Zip Grip, one extra motor, the on board motor is usually just lathed, the usual hex and normal screwdrivers, 2 pro10's and 1 tc. The tc usually stays in the boot and never get used.
I haven't brought along my solder stuff to the track for a long time, I'll borrow if there is a need though.
The other thing is that I replace the spur gear with new diff plates and diff balls every 5 to 6 runs even if the diff has no apparent problems.
Ah yes, a fan and also a 50w lamp for discharging. I don't use discharge trays on the track.
Before I go, I use the on-site air gun to blast away the car dust.
